France. Paris. 1st December 2023. Created in 2006, the nativity scene at the church of Saint-Francois-Xavier (7th arrondissement), the largest in France, was expanded in 2010 to include around 15 santon makers, with around 1,000 santons, more than 700 characters and 250 animals, and scenes bringing together all the different trades.
