Demonstration of the aerostat rising over the hospital garden at half past six on 14th June 1784, measuring 30ft by 6in in diameter accompanied by the gondola called LE SUFFREN, with the two aerial voyagers, Coustard de Massi and Mouchet de l’Oratoire, a local school teacher on board.
