Palace of Fontainebleau.
The Eagles were erected on the gate of the Cour du Cheval Blanc in 1810 by order of Napoleon I; they were removed by the Allies in 1814; replaced in 1848, removed again on September 4, 1870 and put back in place in January 1911.
