Vase in blown transparent crystal, with cylindrical body and thick base with six carved facets.
Circa 1934
The side is decorated with a design made using an etching chisel and wheel, depicting two faces, one African and the other, Asiatic, joined by the double chevron of the Citroen brand and an engraved band bearing the words "Croisière Noire Centre Asie". The vase is flanked by two large hot-sealed handles cut in tiers and unpolished. One has a chip and a small crack.

Pièce commandée par André Citroën pour célébrer son aventure entreprise du 26 octobre 1924 au 26 juin 1925.
La face est ornée d'une composition réalisée au burin et à la roue figurant deux visages, l'un Africain (regardant un autochenille), l'autre Asiatique (présentant un globe terrestre), réunis par le double chevron de la marque Citroën et un bandeau gravé portant la mention "Croisière Noire Centre Asie".
Sous la forme d'un trophée sportif, cette pièce célèbre les deux aventures humaines que sont la Croisière Noire et la Croisière Jaune, mais aussi le progrès technologique automobile au service de la science.
Le bloc de cristal a été dégrossi à la roue mécanique, puis sculpté au burin.
