After she married Isidore Jacobs aka Paquin in 1891, Jeanne Beckers founded her own fashion design brand in Paris. She soon opens shops in New York, Bueno Aires and London she will manage till 1920 (definitive close in 1956).
She used to be aware of the importance of spreading information about her brand. She would go to the Opera along with her models.
