French
iconic actress and singer Danielle
Darrieux has passed away on October 18,
2017. She has appeared in more than 110
films since 1931, both in France and
abroad. She is known for having played
in the film by Terence Young:
'Mayerling' or for her supporting role
in Jacques Demy's musical The Young
Girls of Rochefort (Les Demoiselles de
Rochefort).
She
worked with and for the greatest actors
and directors: Jean-Pierre
Aumont, Albert Préjean, Billy Wilder,
Jean Marais, Claude Autant-Lara, Jean
Rochefort, Fernandel, Pierre Brasseur,
etc.
She
received several awards (César in
France, Silver Bear in Berlin, etc) and
