Burundi, Bujumbura, A womens organization on the ouskirts of Bujumbura that work the field togehter to feed their families, look after orphans and rape victims and offer a story of hope as they have aldo started their own restuarant to help support their efforts.Here is rape victim Minani Adela and Banyankirubusa Dorothee at the house for rape victims. Minani Adela (18) came from the Congo as an orphan. She heard that her father was born in Burundi and she came to the country in the hope that she would find remaining family here. Minani Adela walked alone, when she reached the Burundian boarder she was gang raped by soldiers. "They wore uniform, but I am not sure whose soldiers they were, rebels also wear uniform," she says.
