Nomadic Fulani and Tuareg people are seen in a primary health care centre in InGall in Niger on September 24, 2003. Poor overall health and acute health problems are pervasive in Niger, a direct result of poverty and a limited health care system. Nomadic families take the opportunity to get their children vaccinated and their health taken care of during the annual Salt Cure festival held in InGall each year at the end of the rainy season when nomads drive their long-horned cattle, donkeys and camels to the salty pastures near InGall.
