British citizen, Derek Bond, was arrested by South African Police during a holiday in the country. A case of mistaken identity, Bond appeared on the FBI wanted list. The FBI were so confident they had got their man they took two weeks to check pictures of him against their records in which time Bond remained in a South African prison. When he was finally released he had lost a lot of weight. He was furious with the FBI but had only praise for the way in which the South African police and prison services handled him
