Henry Burton (1578-1648) English clergyman. One-time tutor to Princes Frederick and Charles, sons of James I. In 1637, with William Prynne and John Bastwick he was taken before the Star Chamber. Sentenced to have his ears cut off for publishing seditious pamphlets.
