The Plates from the Second Book of the De Humani Corporis Fabrica by Andreas Vesalius, (1514-1564) Plate 41. Since in the complete muscle plates placed in series at the beginning of the present book all the muscles of the larynx cannot be exposed to view, I believed it would be of advantage to present at the beginning of this chapter the muscles of the larynx separately by means of numerous figures.
