The Plates from the Fifth Book of the De Humani Corporis Fabrica by Andreas Vesalius, (1514-1564) Plate 62 - the thirtieth figure of the fifth book consisting of four special plates. The first plate we have divided the uterus, the second shows the foetal coverings removed untorn from the uterus and in the third we have divided the outermost foetal coverings by a longitudinal incision and the fourth presents the foetus freed from all its tunics.
