Gilded silver Buckle. Malaysia (Perak), 1800-1900; Malay men wore a sash with a buckle to hold up their sarong or lower garment This especially elaborate waist buckle once; belonged to a noble of the 2nd rank, Abdul Wahab bin Toh Muda Abdul Aziz. He was the Chief Minister of Perak between 1948 and 1957.
