Photograph from the "Stroop Report" with the translated original title "The Jewish residential quarter in Warsaw has ceased to exist." by SS General Jürgen Stroop for the SS chief Heinrich Himmler, recounting the German suppression of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and the liquidation of the ghetto in the spring of 1943.
English translation of the original German caption according the photograph 5 from page 6 of the pictorial report (NARA copy): "The Brauer Company"
Description/Place: SS troops arrest the Jewish department heads of the Brauer helmet factory at Nalewki 28-38 street. The Brauer factory of Hermann Brauer employed 2.000 Jewish workers and made helmets for the German. The SS round up the managers and conduct body searches prior to deporting them, then set fire to the factory.
