The hamlet of Bad Dreikirchen grew up around three Gothic chapels built together and belongs to the municipality of Barbian in the Eisack Valley, South Tyrol, Italy. In pre-Christian times, there was a pagan spring sanctuary on this site. The oldest and largest of the churches, St. Gertraud (dedicated to Gertrud of Nivelles) was first mentioned in a document in 1237.
