Niesky is a small town in the district of Görlitz in Upper Lusatia. With just under 10, 000 inhabitants, Niesky is one of the smallest towns in the Free State of Saxony to have the status of a large district town. The Konrad-Wachsmann-Haus is a museum for the history of historic timber house construction with a special focus on modern industrial timber house construction.
