Dresden Functional Building of the Semper Opera, Makolies created four sandstone masks for the exterior façade of the Semper Opera's functional building, which is used as a rehearsal stage, functional building and seat of the administration. They were created between 1982 and 1984 and measure 2.7 by 5.2 metres
