Gallows ponds: The large and small gallows ponds were built in the middle of the 16th century (probably 1550-1553) . The water from the reservoirs was used, among other things, to supply the water for the driving skills, for dewatering and to provide a sufficient and continuous supply of water to the wet punch works. Located at 790 metres above sea level, the ponds are the highest artificial ponds in the Ore Mountains.
