St Christopher's Church is the Protestant-Lutheran parish church in the village of Reinhausen in the district of Göttingen (Lower Saxony) . It stands on the sandstone rock of the Kirchberg above the village centre. The church was originally a castle chapel built by the Counts of Reinhausen in the 10th century. After the castle was converted into a collegiate monastery, it served as a church for this monastery and, from the 12th century, for the Benedictine monastery of Reinhausen that emerged from it. This is why it is still often referred to today as the Reinhausen monastery church, Church of St Christopher, Reinhausen, Lower Saxony, Germany, Europe
