Pillnitz is a former suburb (incorporated in 1950) and is now a district of Dresden Pillnitz has achieved supra-regional fame thanks to its palace and the associated park with the Pillnitz camellia. The park, which overlooks the banks of the Elbe and is surrounded by large green areas, is one of Dresden's tourist attractions
