In December 2022, the Dresden public prosecutor's office, the Soko Epaulette and the LKA Saxony succeeded in recovering a significant proportion of the stolen goods taken during the burglary of the Historic Green Vault. Despite the ongoing seizure by the district court, it is now possible for the first time to exhibit the jewels in their original location and to experience the Historic Green Vault almost in its entirety.
