The beehive tombs of Al-Ayn are the most famous tombs in the area between the towns of Bat and Al-Ayn in the Hajar Mountains of Oman because of their good state of preservation and location on the edge of Jebel Misht (Ridge Mountain) . The tombs were inscribed on the Unesco World Heritage List in 1988
