Krupka (German: Graupen) is a town in the Ústecký kraj in the Czech Republic. The well-preserved monument zone with buildings from the Gothic and Renaissance periods is a reminder of the historical importance and grandeur of the old mining town. Graupen Castle (Hrad Krupka in Czech) is the partially well-preserved remains of what was once a stately castle. It is located in the centre of the Czech town of Krupka (Graupen) on a rocky outcrop and can also be reached by car via a narrow path. It was also known as Rose Castle because of the roses that once bloomed on the slopes of the castle and in the castle garden. Graupen Castle, Horní Krupka, Czech Republic, Europe
