The Taiwanese chip manufacturer TSMC is building a new chip factory in Dresden together with Bosch, Infineon and NXP. The site is next to Bosch's new location in the north of Dresden. Construction of the new TSMC chip factory in Dresden is due to begin on 20 August. The chip manufacturer's CEO is also expected to attend the ground-breaking ceremony in Dresden.
