Propaganda text of National Socialist report on the back of the picture:
"Infantry of the "Red barricade" in Stalingrad, which was stormed by our soldiers". Motive from Wolgograd, Russia, on the 29th of October in 1942. The attack of the German Wehrmacht on the Soviet Union on the 22nd of June in 1941 was going under the alias "Operation Barbarossa". The Wehrmacht reached Stalingrad in autumn 1942, but the city could not be conquered completely.
