"From the Eastern front. Potatoes, hidden in the cellars of Bolshevist villages, are an enrichment for our soldiers". Motive from the Eastern front on the 3rd of March in 1942. In contrast to the information propagated in Germany, there was supply shortage as a rule at the Eastern front.
