Propaganda text of National Socialist report on the back of the picture:
"After work in front of a waggon". A breakdown truck of the German National Railway. Motive from the Eastern front on the 20th of July in 1943, to which romantic elements like a bird house and a vegetable patch were added, to provide a transfigured view on the hard everyday life at the Eastern front. The attack of the German Wehrmacht on the Soviet Union on the 22nd of June in 1941 was going under the alias "Operation Barbarossa".
