Propaganda text of National Socialist report on the back of the picture:
"That's how spring looks like in the East. While spring arrives in Central Europe, blizzards rage in the East, but cannot break our soldier's will and nevertheless supplies are brought forward". Motive from the Eastern front on the 7th of April in 1942. The attack of the German Wehrmacht on the Soviet Union on the 22nd of June in 1941 was going under the alias "Operation Barbarossa".
