French philosopher and author Jean-Paul Sartre (m), lawyer of Baader-Meinhof Klaus Croissant (l) and French former student leader Daniel Cohn-Bendit (r), who lives in Germany, talk at a press conference in Stuttgart on the 4th of December in 1974. Before, Sartre had met RAF (Red Army Faction) terrorist Andreas Baader for a one hour visit. Sartre accused German legal authorities of torture and demanded the formation of an international committee to defend the German anarchists.
