Allied flags taken down from the Hotel Petersberg

Soldiers of the West allied occupying troops take down their flags from the roof of the hotel on the Petersberg (mountain) in Königswinter, near Bonn, on 25 June 1952. By this day, the hotel accommodated the headquarters of the "Hohe Kommission" (translated as "High commission") of the West Allies, which will move into the building of the American lord high commissioner in Bonn-Mehlem till their disbanding.
