Transit camp Friedland
Légende
A group of visitors hopes that relatives will arrive in the camp with the next homecomers transport, in October 1955. On 26 September 1945, the British Army has opened a reception camp in the small town Friedland. The town was chosen because it lies between the British, the American, and the Russian zone. Refugees, homecomers from the war, and immigrants were received in Friedland and provided with their basic needs.
