Peter Lorenz with a sign around his neck. The kidnappers of CDU regional party leader of Berlin Peter Lorenz got in touch with the dpa German press agency exactly 24 hours after the descent on the politician via mail and sent a picture of Lorenz. A sign can be seen in front of the hostage saying: "Captive of the Movement 2nd of June". Student Benno Ohnesorg was shot during the anti-Shah demonstration in Berlin on the 2nd of June in 1967.
