Co-pilot Jürgen Vietor and the injured stewardess Gabi Dillmann leave the Lufthansa aircraft "Cologne" first on the 18th of October in 1977 in Frankfurt am Main. The Lufthansa aircraft "Landshut" with more than 80 travellers on board had been hijacked by terrorists five days ago during their flight back from Mallorca to Germany. After an odyssee via Rome, Cyprus, Dubai and Aden, the hostages were liberated by the German elite unit GSG-9 in Mogadishu/Somalia.
