Withdrawal of Russian Troops (archive photography and text 1992)

Soldier Sergej Unilow is waving a last good-bye on February 25th 1992, before loading his T 80 tank at the freight terminal in Weimar. For a few days now Russian troops are leaving the city. Around 100 military vehicles are send to Siberia from now on every day. By the end of March all soldiers will have left Weimar.
