10th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall: Demonstrations for the reunification

Numerous German flags captured during the demonstrations for the German-German reunification in Plauen, GDR, 27 January 1990. Prior to that, the SED regime had collapsed rapidly. GDR had opened the borders on 09 November 1989. Only one year later on 03 October 1990, the German citizens were reunited again in a sovereign state 45 years after the end of World War II.
