Bundestag votes in favour of unification treaty

The same day GDR 'Volkskammer' (Parliament) in Berlin voted in favour of the treaty with a two-thirds majority as well. The results of the vote in detail: Bundestag (vote by name): 442 mps voted in favour, 47 against the treaty, three abstained from voteing.
GDR Volkskammer: 299 mps voted in favour, 80 against the treaty and one abstained from voting.
