US ambassador in German visits American soldiers

Soldiers of the 24th US infantry division demonstrate a floating bridge, which can even carry the weight of a tank, on the army training ground near Dachau in Bavaria on the 19th of November in 1964.
The soldiers carried out the demonstration in honour of US ambassador George C. McGhee (l), who visited the troops.
He had to take on a combat jacket and a life jacket.
