Soldiers of the US army emplace guns, which had just been dropped with cargo parachutes during the airborne manoeuvre "Wind Drift" in Senne in North-Rhine Westphalia on the 20th of August in 1961.
More than 5,000 US soldiers, amongst them almost 2,500 paratroopers, participate in the 10 day manoeuvre.
