US tanks during the manoeuvre REFORGER I in Germany

Tanks of the US army in the context of the big manoeuvre REFORGER I - "Return of Forces to Germany" on the military training area Grafenwöhr in Bavaria on 22 January 1969. Altogether around 17.000 soldiers participated in the manoeuvre, many of them were brought from the USA to Germany via air bridge. The equipment of the soldiers has already been in depots in Germany for the most part.
