The American military exercise "Reforger I" (Return of Forces to Germany") in Vilseck/Grafenwöhr is in full flood. On Thursday, 30 January 1969, the second day of the combined air-ground-exercise took place. The attackers took up their position at the highway (federal road) 14 near Sulzbach/Rosenberg. The picture shows a US helicopter at the ground, in front of it there are jeeps with anti-tank guns.
