A bus drives through a reproduction of the Checkpoint Charlie in the Andrew Barracks in Berlin on the 24th of May in 1977. Only when a GI is able to pass the control barrier within a millimetre, he receives a stamp for his military driver's licence which allows him to drive to East Berlin.
