US troop transport to Berlin leads through Soviet zone

Légende

A US combat group from Mannheim building up tents near Braunschweig on their way to Berlin on 19th August 1981. The American soldiers, coming from the FGR, had to drive through the Soviet zone to reinforce the US troops already stationed in Berlin. The journey proceeded without any problems.
