Vehicles of the US Army driving on the interzonal autobahn through the Soviet zone on their way to Berlin on 3rd March 1969. The American soldiers, coming from the FGR, had to drive through the Soviet zone to relieve and reinforce the US troops already stationed in Berlin. The journey proceeded without any problems.
