New tanks for US brigade in Berlin

M60 tanks and 10,5 howitzers on self-propelled vehicles of the US Army arriving Berlin-Lichterfelde station after a trip through the Soviet zone on 22nd August 1963. The tank and other heavy US military vehicles, which were loaded on train wagons, are part of the reinforcement for the soldiers who are already stationed in Berlin. They had to be transported through the Soviet zone to arrive at West Berlin.
