US pilots after an incident with the Soviet air force on the airport Tempelhof

The two pilots Frederickson (left) nd Gallarda (right) of the US air force are standing in front of their machine of the type C-54 on the airport Tempelhof in Berlin on 11 June 1950. Both pilots were pressed by two Soviet fighter planes to land on the Soviet airport Oranienburg because of an alleged airspace infringement. They refused and landed safely in Tempelhof.
