Tank and Bible with U.S. troops in Stuttgart

A Patton tank stands on the barrack square of the headquarters of the 7th U.S. army in Stuttgart on 17 December 1962. As Christmas decoration someone has put up the picture of an open Bible, printed on cardboard, in front of it. Symbols of peace and war stand together in rare harmony in a very confined space.
