Fourty-year-old Ida Wiozniak lies in hospital severly injured on the 27th of December in 1953 in Berlin-Wannsee.
Soviet soldiers had fired at a VW delivery van on the interzonal motorway Berlin-Helmstedt without any apparent reason.
Five bullets hit the area of the driver's seat of Adalbert Wiozniak's van, who was on his way on the motorway with wife Ida and son Joachim. The sixteen-year-old son was killed, the wife was injured.
