A staff sergeant of the Soviet army (front) is marched off by soldiers of the US army on the 31st of January in 1987 in Alsfeld.
The staff sergeant and another Soviet soldier in the rank of a colonel were arrested by American military members and kept for six hours. The Soviets are accused of having observed and photographed the exercises of the 3rd US tank division in Alsfeld over a couple of days.
