La cathédrale San Lorenzo de Gênes

Légende

Genova, Duomo (Cattedrale di S. Lorenzo), Cappella di San Giovanni, parete Ovest: lunetta con scene dalla vita di San Giovanni Battista (al centro il banchetto di Erode e lateralmente il martirio e la sepoltura del Battista); bassorilievo (stiacciato) in marmo. La lunetta fu realizzata nel 1496 da Giovanni d’Aria con la collaborazione dei fratelli Michele e Bonino.

Genoa, Duomo (St. Lawrence Cathedral),the Chapel of St. John the Baptist, Western wall: lunette with scenes of the life of St. John the Baptist (in the centre, the banquet of Herod and laterally the martyrdom and burial of the Baptist); bas/relief (stiacciato) in marble. The lunette was realised by Giovanni d’Aria with the collaboration of the brothers Michele and Bonino in 1496.
