View from the rear of the statue which shows General James Wolfe in a cape and tricorn hat. Below is the Royal Naval Hospital, now the National Maritime Museum. The statue was a gift from the Canadian people and was unveiled in 1930. Its plinth is scarred by a landmine which fell nearby during the Second World War.
